Biography

Aldo Likafi was born in Piraeus in 1996. He began his studies of classical guitar when he was 12 years old at the Conservatory of Paros in the class of Themis Papadimitriou. In 2017 he received his Classical guitar Diploma in the class of Themis Papadimitrou with an excellent grade and highest marks. At the same time he also gained a degree in harmony of music.

He also followed lessons with the professor Costas Cotsiolis in the Conservatory of Athens 2017-18.


In the year 2015 till 2017 he followed flamenco guitar seminars with Panos Kartibelis.

Aldo is a classical guitarist based in the Netherlands, where he had the opportunity to study his Master of Music performance Degree with Sabrina Vlaškalić and finish his Master studies with Goran Krivokapić. He occasionally performs his own compositions, with a small but growing repertoire of original works.

In the year 2020, Aldo began his cooperation with the Dutch composer Peter Nagtzaam where he was the first to play and record most of his pieces.

As an active performer, Aldo has appeared on stages across Greece, the Netherlands, and Spain. He has won multiple national and international competitions, including:

1st Prize – Guitar Feasts, Greece

1st Prize – Arpege Guitar Festival, Kozani, Greece

2nd Prize – Tirana Guitar Festival, Albania

2nd Prize – Guitar Festival of Palaio Faliro, Greece

Aldo has also had the honor of participating in masterclasses with world-class artists such as Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens, Aniello Desiderio, and others.
